What are you going to do as a Commissioning Engineer?
You are going to be responsible for the commissioning, starting up, testing, maintenance, and installation of pumps, compressors and other equipment for the maritime and offshore sector; these installations have both mechanical components as well as electrical/PLC related systems. Some are also diesel powered.
You will travel around 30% of the time internationally – working on tankers, sea-going vessels, and offshore platforms – mostly around Europe but also intercontinentally. The remaining amount of time is spent inspecting, repairing, and testing systems in-house. There will be a training period of around 5 months before you are sent on international projects.

What is expected of you as an International Commissioning Engineer?
• MEDIUM TO FLUENT DUTCH
• MBO/HBO – Elektrotechniek
• 2+ years’ experience as an electrotechnical service or commissioning engineer in the maritime or offshore industries
